We do not collect precise location data from your device.

AI and Speech Processing

When you use Tutor, Guided Lessons, or another AI speaking feature, your voice recording, transcript, and relevant lesson context may be sent to Google Cloud and OpenAI for speech recognition and AI feedback.

We ask for your permission before sending this information. You can decline and continue using parts of Yapsu AI that do not require AI speech processing. You can withdraw your consent in the app settings. We request microphone access only when a speaking feature needs it.

How We Share Information

This includes Google Cloud and OpenAI for the AI speaking features described above, and providers that support hosting, analytics, diagnostics, authentication, subscriptions, and payments. These providers must process information only for the agreed purpose and provide the same or equivalent protection required by this policy.

We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users, Yapsu AI, or others.

Data Retention and Security

We keep information only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect our rights. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we process.

Your Choices and Rights

You can control microphone access in your device settings and AI data sharing in the app settings. You may also ask to access, correct, export, or delete your information, or withdraw consent, where applicable. Contact us to make a request.

International Processing

Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

Children's Privacy

Yapsu AI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
